Stamp 4 Evaluation

For my final stamp, I used another image I had brought back from Tropical World, which was of a chameleon however instead of keeping the chameleon on a branch, I changed it so that it was on a javelin, I did this as it will relate to the brief because it will advertise an event that will be at the Rio Olympics, I specifically did this as our brief was mainly based around the Rio Olympics in Brazil, I thought that having something not relevant to the olympics would maybe take the focus away from the Olympics. I then put in the three medals; gold, silver and bronze to make my stamp have more relevance to the Olympics. For my focal point, the chameleon is central to the stamp and instead of the chameleons natural colour I have changed it so that the Brazilian flag is its skin, this works as I have changed the transparency so that it isn’t too vibrant and it blends in well with the rest of the colours of the chameleon and blends in with the background also. For my background I have tried to recreate the style of Pablo Jeffer which he uses in his backgrounds, this relates to the brief as he is the designer I have researched in the weeks before the exam and i like the way that his backgrounds look as they create depth in the image and look as if he has used a lot of layers in his image.
